After many years of teaching at Hackett, Mrs. Williamson is saying goodbye and returning to St. Augustine’s. Though she will be missed greatly by her students, we are all confident that she will continue to use her talents to shape the lives of her future students, as she has to her past students.

When asked about her favorite memories from Hackett, Mrs. Williamson had many to share. She has enjoyed telling her students about her “Popcorn Mondays”, where she has popcorn for dinner. She also has enjoyed all the times that she finally sees a student understand math, especially after many lunch and after school tutoring sessions. Mrs. Williamson also fondly remembers the love and support that she had from students after her father passed in 2023. She stated that, “most of all, I remember feeling loved and appreciated by my students.”
While she has much to look forward to, there are a few things that Mrs. Williamson will miss. She will miss saying “good morning” to all of the students, as it’s a great way to start her day. She loves getting to know everyone by name. She will also miss distributing Holy Communion to her students at Hackett. Lastly, she will miss “the incredible view from room #109.
There are many things for Mrs. Williamson to look forward to next year. For example, she will have many new experiences and challenges, including teaching and using her brain in a new way. Something not everyone knows about Mrs. Williamson is that St. Augustine’s is where she joined the Catholic Church and began teaching for Catholic schools. It is also where her daughters attended school, so she is looking forward to returning home.
Mrs. Williamson is carrying the hearts of many past and present students to St. Augustine. She stated that, “I will continue to pray for Hackett–the students, faculty and staff. You will forever be a part of me. I will miss you dearly.” Thank you for everything, Mrs. Williamson. Hackett will miss you.
