SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Hair By Hannah

By: Natalie Burhans

Need to rant to someone? Need someone to talk to? Hannah Hollman is one of those people you can always go to when you need someone to get something off your chest.  Have a seat in her future salon and let Hannah work her magic.

Ever since she was young she has enjoyed doing hair. Whether it was curling, straightening, or even braiding she would always be the one to volunteer. Her junior year she started attending Kalamazoo Valley halfway through the school day to take the cosmetology class to receive her license. Just a few weeks ago she graduated from cosmetology school and applied for multiple jobs at different salons. She finally settled on working at Reflections to start her career.

Since finishing cosmetology school Hannah is already ahead of others. But this is just the start for her. With her very hard work ethic and passion she plans on going back to school and going into nursing so she can continue her education on the medical side of cosmetology.

Aside from her love for cosmetology she also is one of the kindest and sweetest people you will ever meet. She loves hanging out with her friends and is always there for them.

Senior Bridget Shea said, “Hannah has always been there for me no matter what I’m going through. She has the kindest heart and always wants what’s best for her friends.”

Recently, Hannah said, “Some people that inspire me the most are my best friends, they are always there for me and taught me that being a friend isn’t just about sharing good times, it's about making sure nobody feels forgotten or invisible when things get hard. At the end of the day it's the people you love and the people who love you that make your life truly rich.”
