HCP and the Right Way to be
By: Ty Brand

In a recent boys basketball game the tensions and behaviors of Hackett athletes and students were getting a little questionable when it comes to Sportsmanship. No matter what sport it is or what team we’re playing, there has to be good sportsmanship.
With that being said I spoke to Mr. Koz about the code of conduct and where it can be found. The code of conduct is not on the Hackett website but Mr. Koz had a printed copy in his possession.
“It was just a handbook for kids involved in athletics and after school circulars and how they should behave. The code of conduct should be a reminder that you are not only representing yourself and family but you are representing Hackett, so it's important to know that you are representing your school.”
The students in the student section should represent Hackett as well. The cheers performed by the students should not be directed to any individual or towards another team or parent. Cheers should only be towards Hackett and students should be cheering on their school.
