Heat Seeking Destinations - Spring Break 2025
Tis the season! Tis the season to take a step back from all of our responsibilities and spend a week of rest and relaxation! The end of March marks the end of Hackett’s third quarter grades and also the graduating class of 2025’s senior spring break! It is very common for our seniors here at Hackett to team up and plan a one-of-a-kind spring break to enjoy together and make unforgettable memories!
After talking with multiple seniors, it seems like the HOT destination is somewhere next to the ocean.
After talking to Andrew Alcaraz about his spring break plans, he informed us that he and his crew, including Jude Coffman, Graham Zygadlo, Tyler Brand, Gavin St. Martin, Roan Borton, Andrew, and Chris Ogrin, have tickets to enjoy an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. “The thing I look forward to most is spending time with my close friends and meeting all the huzz.”
Another group of seniors has also hopped on the senior spring break trend and planned a week-long trip full of activities and adventures. Izzy Hentz and her group, including Emma Bartholomew, Thea Husovska, Cassie Mattison, and Owen Widman, are headed down to Marathon, in the Florida Keys. “I’ve been on a trip with friends but never a big group like this, but I think it will be fun to experience this with all of them. We all just

can’t wait to get out of the cold Michigan weather and take in the warm Florida sun.”
Preston Cosby also has big plans for his senior spring break, traveling down to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Preston is accompanied by the HCP baseball team who are using this as sort of a team-bonding experience to build chemistry for this year's season. “A lot of people aren’t going this year, but for the few and the proud, it’s gonna be good to bond with them and do some spring training while we’re down there.”
If you are thinking about going on a senior spring break, it is never too early to start planning for a great time with friends and family. High school is about making and sharing memories and a senior spring break would be a fantastic way to send you off to college.
