Making Money: Carlos Fontana

Carlos was born in 1956 in Brazil, and he was the fourth of eleven children. He loved school and studied crop science and economics. He had been selected for a scholarship and moved to Michigan to attend Michigan State University. After graduation, he went back to Brazil. Later, he came back to America at the age of 28, and worked at Kellogg, where he received opportunities to travel. He owns a leadership company called Rhodium Leadership Academy.

He was giving advice to the economics students about making money. He gave them four main points. The first being you have to earn money. Second, you have to save your money. Third, you must invest. Then lastly, spend your money. The biggest piece of advice he gave was, “time is limited”.
