SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Izzy’s World

Izzy is prepared to take on the world! 

After graduating from Hackett, Izzy will be attending Michigan State University and majoring in hospitality management. She is undecided on what she wants to do after graduation, but wants a career that will allow her to travel and live around the world. Her dream is to one day live in Oceanside, CA where she has visited a couple of times. She loves the peaceful and nostalgic atmosphere there. 

Izzy was born on January 30, 2007 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Fort Wayne is a second home for her in her life, and she loves to go there. Her favorite memories are visiting her Grandma and spending hours in the kitchen cooking for their big family. She also loves how the area never seems to drastically change and is comforting and peaceful. Izzy is the oldest of two daughters, she has a little sister named Gigi. For elementary and middle school, Izzy went to St. Augustine, and she remains close to many of the friends she made there.

One of Izzy’s main goals in life is to see the world.  “My favorite thing to do is think about all of the places and people I can experience because I’ve always been eager to go out and see the world.” Izzy wants to go experience the world before placing roots somewhere. This has been influenced by relatives who are immigrants. Izzy, like them, wants to see the world before finding a place to have roots. Good luck Izzy, Hackett will miss you!
