SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Julia Warner

Julia Warner is outgoing, funny, and bubbly. She is excited to find many successes throughout college and her career after. Born to successful parents in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Julia aspires to make her family proud. Her father is an anesthesiologist and he’s her biggest influence. She believes he has always inspired her to do good things. His job has shown her how to find success. In addition, her mother and brother are nurses, and her other brother is a sheriff which motivates her to have an important job in today’s world.

Julia plans to achieve this by attending college to study political science with a minor in pre-law. With a love for watching ‘Law & Crime Network’ on youtube in her spare time, her dream is to become a criminal lawyer. She plans to spend the next four years at either Michigan State or Western Michigan University and then go on to law school.

Julia frequently starts her mornings thankful to God that she is living each day. Her sophomore year, she actually got into a really bad car accident where she became injured. Afterward, she had to get a tumor removed from her head. Though this was a tough situation, it helped her to appreciate the beauty of life, as the outcome from the car accident could have been much worse. This motivates her to be forgiving and let things go, because life is so precious.

“My advice to incoming freshmen would be that you are going to go through multiple stages of life, but always remember who you are and stay true to yourself. It goes by really fast.” Julia is excited to have a new start to adulthood where she will meet new people and expand her relationships. She is happy now, and hopes to be happy in the future. Spreading positivity and laughs, she will take her positive outlook on life everywhere she goes.
