T-minus 9 Days Until Spring Sports
Spring sports are nine days away and many athletes and teams have big goals for this season!
Starting with boys baseball, they had an impressive season, going all the way to the state quarterfinals. The teams goal is "To grow closer together while dominating on the field" says senior Brooks Basler.
Next with girls soccer, last year they lost to Kalamazoo Christian in a tough but thrilling district final. This year the team has a big goal to, “Win districts and get as far as we can in playoffs,” stated senior Natalie Burhans.
Boys track still has some big goals even after all the success and awards with individual state titles while also winning SAC Conference, Regionals, and MITCA Team States last year. Junior Sean Siems says, “The goal is to get another State Championship for the team and many individual State Championship titles.”

Lastly, softball has some big goals for their season. Senior Bridget Shea said, “The goal for this season is to get closer as a team especially with the new players and to have the dedication to win a ton of games.”
