Raising Canes is coming to Kalamazoo! Why are so many people in love with Raising Canes? What makes it different from other chicken places? Maybe it is because of the way they cook their chicken, since it is not frozen. Many Hackett Students are excited for Raising Canes to come to Kalamazoo, here is what they have to say about it.

“I'm ecstatic to learn that Canes is making its way to Kalamazoo, the food is delectable and I am so excited to have easy access to their chicken tenders and canes sauce. Westnedge will be seeing more of me once Canes opens up,” senior Owen Widman stated. As you can see, Owen has to be one of the top Raising Canes lovers. He would go on trips to Indiana or Lansing to eat there sometimes.
“I'll be so happy because it's so good, but sad because the line will be long,” sophomore Tori Smith said. She does make a good point. When Chick-fil-a first came to Westnedge everybody was going there and the line was extra long since everyone was excited, the same thing most likely will happen with Raising Canes.
Senior Cassie Mattison said, “I’m excited that Canes is making its way to Kalamazoo, but the journey to Lansing or Indiana seems to make the food a lot more enjoyable. I’m wondering if the fact that we would have constant access to it will make the food not taste as good.” She has a good point, going on the trips to get Canes makes it seem more like a treat, since there is not easy access to it all the time.
“I'm thrilled Canes is coming because both times I went to Canes it was a fun, memorable day with friends based around going to get some really good chicken,” senior Alex Dumont said.
If you can’t tell, it seems like everyone is excited for Canes to come. What are your thoughts on Raising Canes coming to Kalamazoo?
