Winning Big: Boys Soccer

The boys soccer team has had a rough couple of games. But they are slowly picking up the pace. They played Constantine on Monday, September 23. And ended it with a victory! They mercied with 10 minutes left in the game, winning 9-1.

A variety of players scored goals during the game. Senior Liam Roth scored three and Max Nobis scored three also. Cullen McBride, James Scothorn, and Roan Borton each contributed to the win by scoring one goal.

When asked about how he thinks his team is doing, junior Cullen McBride said, “We’re getting better and we’re having fun.” Senior Roan Borton added, “I think that we really needed the win recently and it helped that we did win and mercied them, we needed the boost.”

The boys’ next game is Wednesday, September 25. It is Senior Night!! Come out and support your seniors at their last home game!
