Paving the Way to New Traditions
Hackett’s senior class is kicking the year off strong with new traditions. For the first time at Hackett, seniors painted their parking spots a few days before school was back in session.
“Painting senior parking spots was such a fun time to spend together and the first of many senior activities,” says Addie Smucker. She is excited to kick off her senior year and start many new traditions at Hackett. Addie has high hopes for senior year, and appreciated the time she got to spend with her classmates. This mentality reflects the excitement of the senior class for this year.
Emma Bartholomew also had a memorable experience painting her parking spot. When asked about it, she said, “I liked that the parking spots let us show our personalities a little bit. It was super fun and a great way for the class to bond.” Emma appreciates that she was able to express her personality in her artwork. She also enjoyed seeing a little bit of everyone's personalities in their parking spots. Everyone has their own, unique artwork, so they are all leaving a little bit of themselves at Hackett.
Needless to say, the seniors have a great year in store for them. This new tradition of painting parking spots is the first of many fun activities. Hopefully, this tradition will be passed onto future senior classes, and have a lasting impact on Hackett.
